About the event

Arlequines received the Special Jury Mention in the fourth edition of the Escena Abierta Playwriting Contest. This original play by Marcelo Galliano revolves around a man and a woman who meet in the waiting room of a clinic. Both are elderly, unknown actors, and upon discovering their shared profession, they engage in a moving and hilarious conversation about society, art, failures, and life. As the conversation unfolds, other grotesque and absurd characters suddenly appear, making the audience question the reality of what they are witnessing, leading to a surprising and exciting conclusion. Enjoy the dramatic reading of the play in Spanish, with live English translation/captions available.

Hearing assistance devices will be provided in the room where the program begins. We recommend bringing your own headphones.
