Madhouse
Project Type
Performing Arts | Art Installation | Free event
Date
October 2019
Created by Thamara Bejarano and produced by Open Scene, Madhouse was a performing arts and art installation experience featured at Immerse Fest 2019.
This project explored the concept of individuality and connection, highlighting how, despite our perceived uniqueness and separation, we ultimately mirror aspects of one another. By delving into the shared human experience, Fragments of Madness posed a profound question: who is truly "crazy" in the chaotic tapestry of life—the observer or the observed?
Through poetry, music, and video, six artists sought to bridge the gap between internal perception and external communication, inviting audiences to reflect on the complexities of existence and the interconnectedness of humanity.
