A Movie Without Julie is an award-winning one-act musical produced in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Fernando Albinarrete wrote it to honor Mrs Julie Andrews, directed by Julio Panno, and performed by Lucila Gandolfo. The play traces Catalina's lonely life at six years old when she befriends Julie Andrews in her imagination after watching The Sound of Music. From her whimsical childhood to a traumatic teen stage, it concludes with hope, redemption, and a new journey through a fulfilling adulthood. The play is full of beautiful music, the extraordinary talent of the singer and actress Lucila Gandolfo, and a story that makes us travel through a colorful scale of emotions that give life to this online presentation accompanied by a live talk-back with the cast and crew at the end.
