Two journeys separated by more than a century intersect: that of Asha, a young Iranian film student living in Madrid, and those of journalists Nellie Bly and Elizabeth Bisland, who in 1889 embarked on an extraordinary race around the world in opposite directions.
Through travel, ambition, and displacement, Viajeras explores migration, identity, freedom of movement, and a question that resonates across generations: who has the right to tell the story?

Join us for a playful, hands-on exploration of the early days of cinema and the extraordinary imagination of Georges Méliès.
Discover his cinematic tricks through film excerpts, explore the birth of special effects, and experiment with how music and sound can completely transform what we see on screen.

This hands-on workshop offers a fun, surprising journey through cinema, music, sound, and imagination—with a few magical tricks along the way.
