FLORIDA PREMIERE. Teatro Público de Puerto Rico brings Blanco Temblor to VI FIAE with a contemporary theatrical work that enters the lived territory of bipolar disorder: psychiatric hospitals, medication, stigma, prejudice, relationships, aging, life and death.
Through humor, silence, music, movement and grief, the play asks what it means to continue living, loving and insisting on being seen as a whole person beyond a diagnosis.
Selected for Festival Encuentro in Los Angeles and CLATA’s Destinos Festival in Chicago, Blanco Temblor arrives in Florida for one performance, followed by a conversation with the artists.
