About the event
Cinema Magic Lab is a hands-on workshop inspired by the imaginative world of Georges Méliès, one of cinema’s earliest great illusionists.
Participants will explore how filmmakers created visual magic long before computers and digital effects, experimenting with the playful ideas, tricks, and creative techniques that helped shape early cinema.
Designed as an interactive experience, the workshop invites participants to look at film not only as something to watch, but as something to invent.
Presented by Alcoléa & Cie (France) as part of VI FIAE 2026.
