About the event

What makes a movie magical? How did filmmakers create incredible illusions more than 100 years ago? And why does music make us feel so much more?

Join us for a playful, hands-on exploration of the early days of cinema and the extraordinary imagination of Georges Méliès.

Discover his cinematic tricks through film excerpts, explore the birth of special effects, and experiment with how music and sound can completely transform what we see on screen.

Come curious. Leave inspired—and see movies differently.
