About the event

A play by the Cuban author and researcher Antonio Orlando Rodríguez premiered at the Ibero-American Theater Festival in Bogotá, Colombia, with presentations at the 35th World Congress of the International Theater Institute in Spain and at the sixth edition of the Miami Open Arts Fest. For the first time in Orlando, Artefactus Cultural Project presents from Miami this magnificent production directed by Eddy Díaz-Souza with a 100% Cuban cast. "The text is realistic and fantastic, playful and profound, with complex characters who love and hate each other, but never abandon each other," is how Carolina Caballero defines the play in her work Current Cuban Theater: Playwriting Written in the United States. With the performances of Mabel Roch, Juan David Ferrer, and cellist Yamilé Pedro, enjoy this journey full of humor, imagination, tenderness, and reflection on exile, homeland, and identity through this exclusive online presentation accompanied by a live talk-back with…
