This year, from September 22 to 28, Open Scene transforms the entire campus of the Art & History Museums of Maitland into a vibrant global stage. For seven days, experience one-of-a-kind artistic presentations—physical theater, flamenco, drumming, and cabaret—that you’ll only find at FLAE.

Open Scene is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in the state of Florida and based in Winter Park.

We are proud members of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP), the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC), the International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA), the Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership, and the Winter Park Cultural Alliance.

Open Scene’s programs are partially funded by United Arts of Central Florida, home of OrlandoAtPlay.com and UAArtsEd.com, Orange County Government through the Arts & Cultural Affairs Program, the State of Florida through the Division of Arts and Culture, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
