Blending | FusionFest 2019

Created by Thamara Bejarano and produced by Open Scene, Blending was a ten-minute experimental performance presented at FusionFest 2019 in Downtown Orlando. Combining movement, music, and visual storytelling, the work drew on Indigenous, African, and Spanish cultural traditions to reflect on the mixed inheritances that shape Latin identity. The ensemble brought together artists from different backgrounds in an exploration of shared origin, cultural memory, and connection.
