2020 Season | Open Scene

Open Scene’s 2020 season marked a rapid shift into digital creation during the COVID-19 pandemic. A Doll’s House transformed Ibsen’s classic for Zoom and mobile recording, while Prolífica became a 20-episode research-based series exploring the cultures, artistic traditions, and identities of the Spanish-speaking world. Together, these projects extended Open Scene’s work beyond physical venues and experimented with new ways of creating and sharing performance online.
