FLAE 2022 by Open Scene was the second edition of the Festival Latinoamericano de Artes Escénicas in Orlando, Florida. Featuring more than 60 Latin artists from across the Americas, this vibrant cultural event offered a powerful mix of theater in Spanish, visual arts, Latin music, and artist-led workshops.
Online programming included five unique workshops covering clown technique, opera, directing, acting tips with Ruddy Rodríguez, and social media strategies. The in-person performances showcased original productions like Raquel, Tequila or Rum, and The Orgy, along with live mariachi, folkloric dance, and capoeira performances.
Curated by SoTA Collection, the visual arts exhibition featured Orlando-based artist Mär Martinez.
FLAE 2022 highlighted Open Scene’s mission to promote Latinx voices, foster cultural exchange, and make the performing arts accessible to all.
