“It is the silence that speaks to me, and I answer back.”
At night, the whispers of souls crying out for justice travel with the wind and the desert sands.
This original play by Claudia Vargas Vega follows Raquel, a cis woman in a traveling circus, and her partner Desiré, a transgender woman, as they endure a violent assault that tears their lives apart. What follows is a harrowing and emotional quest for justice, fueled by love, grief, and the need for answers.
