The FLAE 2024 Latin Performing Arts Festival by Open Scene features a powerful hybrid lineup of online and in-person events with over 40 artists from Latin America, the U.S., and Spain. This fourth edition includes theater in Spanish, immersive visual art, professional workshops, and artist talkbacks—celebrating contemporary Latin performance across borders and disciplines.
The online component of FLAE 2024 showcases creative voices across Latin America and Spain through workshops and streamed theater productions. All events include live talkbacks and are accessible to a global audience.

In-Person Programming
In-person performances took place at the A&H Museums of Maitland across three consecutive nights, featuring internationally acclaimed artists and companies.

Interactive Art Installation
The visual arts component of FLAE 2024 featured Landslide, an immersive, site-specific installation by Venezuelan artist Gisela Romero, inviting audiences to reflect on fragility and transformation in the public realm.
