The Art of Interviewing | Osceola 2026

Project type

Applied Puppetry | Workforce Reentry | Bilingual Workshop

Period

Summer 2026

Location

Osceola County Corrections Department

Co-production

Open Scene | New College of Florida

In 2026, Open Scene continued The Art of Interviewing: Voice, Vision, Vocation at the Osceola County Corrections Department in co-production with New College of Florida. Dr. Tyler Fisher, New College students, and co-teacher Leah Basaria used purpose-built puppets as low-pressure interview personas through a bilingual four-week workshop series. Participants practiced job-interview skills, developed career identities, and created puppet self-portraits later shared with the broader community through a public exhibition at Hart Memorial Central Library.
