FLAE 2025 Latin Performing Arts Festival Open Scene transforms the Art & History Museums of Maitland into a vibrant international stage from September 22 to 28. This free, week long festival features global Latinx and Ibero American artists in immersive theatrical presentations, flamenco fusion, Afro Caribbean drumming, cabaret tribute to Beny Moré, and U.S. premieres of powerful international performances.
Past highlights include El Mal Querer from Venezuela, Souvenirs (France), Drums of Fire (Afro Caribbean percussion ritual), and Flamenco–Bolero Fusion (Spain). Each event includes artist talkbacks, AI powered translation, and community interaction across seven locations on the A&H campus.
This fifth edition celebrates cultural exchange, artistic innovation, and Open Scene’s mission to amplify Latinx voices through high-quality, accessible performances in Orlando.
