Presented by Open Scene in collaboration with the Haitian American Art Network, La Perle des Antilles is a mural by Haitian artist Patrick Noze created for the Consulate General of Haiti in Orlando. The public artwork draws on Haitian cultural memory and imagery to reflect on identity, resilience, and community. The project extended the artistic dialogue initiated through Open Scene’s 2024 Create Dangerously forum with Edwidge Danticat and strengthened the organization’s ongoing engagement with Haitian and Caribbean diasporic arts.
