The Blue Element: Public Art Installation in Winter Park

Project type

Public Art Installation

Date

February 2025

Location

Winter Park, FL

The Blue Element, conceived as an “artistic bridge” between Winter Park’s City Hall and Central Park, was a multi-sensory public art installation and experience designed to inspire curiosity, reflection, and connection.
Composed of three thoughtfully integrated components, this interactive installation invited residents and visitors alike to pause, contemplate, and celebrate the transformative power of art while moving between two of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Unveiled on February 22, 2025, and on view through Arts Weekend, The Blue Element activated both Central Park and the City Hall lawn with vibrant, participatory moments that enriched Winter Park’s cultural landscape. Its design underscored the city’s commitment to creative placemaking, community dialogue, and artistic exploration in public spaces.
