The second edition of Songs of the Hispanic Diaspora returned to Timucua Arts Foundation on August 24, 2025, continuing Open Scene’s collaboration with the Central Florida Composers Forum. Original compositions responded to Hispanic poetry through a program exploring exile, belonging, memory, and the fragile beauty of impermanence. The edition also brought vocal performance into the series through Occo Voxo, extending the project’s dialogue between literary text and contemporary music.
