At Open Scene, we’re thrilled to share exciting news: our Founder and Executive Director, Thamara Bejarano, will represent the Southern United States at the International Society of the Performing Arts (ISPA) annual convention in New York City from January 14 to 16, 2025.
With this year’s theme, "Leading With Creativity," the ISPA convention will bring together nearly 500 delegates from 178 cities and 50 regions worldwide to celebrate the transformative power of the performing arts. Thamara will present the Southern United States Regional Update on Wednesday, January 15, highlighting the resilience, creativity, and diversity that define our region’s thriving arts landscape.
This opportunity places Central Florida firmly on the global cultural map, showcasing how organizations like Open Scene are reshaping the narrative through inclusive programming and community-driven initiatives.
