2021 Season | Open Scene

Open Scene’s 2021 season marked a return to in-person programming while continuing the digital experimentation that began during the pandemic. The year included the streaming adaptation Yerma, the testimonial theater project VOICES, the inaugural FLAE Latin Performing Arts Festival, two editions of Art in the Garden, and Exquisite Corpse, an immersive virtual-reality installation at IMMERSE. Together, these projects expanded Open Scene’s work across theater, music, visual art, community storytelling, workshops, and participatory experiences.
